Ashley Hagen began her painting career in Ames, Iowa at the age of two. Her mother took painting classes at Iowa State University and took Ashley along to paint by her side. She received her BFA in 1999, from the renowned School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has also studied in Florence, Italy and Vienna, Austria. Her paintings have garnered numerous awards and have been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions. Her artwork continues to be acquired by private collectors around the world. Currently she lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
